If you are a contractor or sub-contractor working for EQC, the organisation is committed to providing you with a safe and healthy work environment that complies with our Health and Safety Guidance. These pages provide guidance to contractors about EQC’s approach to health and safety.

Please communicate Safety Information

All contractors and people working for them must communicate any related safety information to EQC. This includes:

  • notifying hazards and risks bought into the workplace or created during the course of the work
  • conducting a risk assessment, using a Risk Analysis Worksheet, for any work relative to starting the work. Through this assessment, you will be able to identify hazards and risk associated with any of the sequential steps of the work.

Think about the Safe6, six potentially fatal risks you need to be aware of, if you’re doing residential repair work.

A ‘Toolbox Talk’ is a short presentation to the workforce on a single aspect of health and safety. We prepare toolbox talks to save you the time and effort of writing them yourself.
