Resilience and Research Highlights Report 2023

Every year EQC Toka Tū Ake invests millions into research, data and education to help reduce the impact of natural hazards events on New Zealand people and property. This report covers some of the breadth of EQC’s $14 million investment in 2023 to build a more resilient New Zealand. It features bite-sized stories showcasing the people, projects and programmes working towards EQC’s resilience vision: to see natural hazards embedded into all aspects of decision making of our homes, towns and cities.
