You can contact us in a number of different ways, including filling out the contact form on this page, making a claim online or contacting our Call Centre. If you have an emergency, you should contact Emergency Services on 111.

Making a claim online

If you need to make a new claim, you may need to contact your insurer. Find further information about who to lodge your claim with on this page.

Discuss an existing claim or settlement

EQC managed claim

Please contact your EQC claim manager or the EQC Call Centre. 

Insurer managed claim

Please contact your insurer claim manager directly (or through your broker) for all claim information.

Request information about a historic claim

Contact the EQC team about requesting historic claim information

Please note that under the current Alert Level 4 in place across New Zealand, we are unable to print and post documents. There will also be a delay in processing items sent to our PO Boxes. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.
